No dd Toyota and Holden (gm) had a product sharing agreement
Did you mean to say "Yes, dd"? GM had the same agreements in USA. Our club member Angelo worked in the shared factory until they shut it down about 2 years ago. There were three models that I know of. There were more Toyota than GM, but had GM brand badges (Pontiac and Chevrolet).

On the used car market, these cars are a better value than the toyotas they were based on.

i bought a volvo for a daily, has allowed me to do more major work on the ute but at the same time has allowed me to be relaxed enough to leave it off the road for 2 years haha
also dont make the mistake i did and buy a car you might want to modify, wheels and suspension for the volvo are now delaying plans for the ute :P

Lol I thought you said lexan as that's not a car when compared to plexiglass - bad joke...

Same sht different smell lol.

Yeah heaps of product sharing still exists.

Get something with timing chain, less maintanence once again.

Funniest I remember we're xf falcon utes rebadged as Nissan tradesmans utes.... All they did was change the badges.

Get an LPG Falcon - probably the cheapest car on the road. Cheap fuel, cheap parts, cheap insurance. 1 million kms is not uncommon in taxis. Reasonable comfort and plenty of room. I'm on my third - a Fairmont Ghia with 360,000 on the clock
