That sedan looks sik! Thinkin the color looks very similar to Morpheus purple. On the Holden ve commodores.

Well guys thanks for your imput but still no closer to a decision.Every time i see a colour i think it would look good,now thinking this would look good on a ute with draglite or prostar.As long as the colour isnt the same as maddat ute.

sorry to be a pain in your ass. the maddat ute is painted in morpheus purple. there is a thread on here somewhere showing the build it they had it painted that purple. you could prob find a nice kandy purple or something similiar if you looked on some other sites? or spoke to a smash shop or paint supply.

Hi Dat51k i know that the colour off the maddat ute is morpheus purple and thats why i dont want mine to be the same.The purple sedan has been photo shoped,what ill do is show the guy thats going to paint my ute the sedan and hopefully he can get a nice candy that looks similar.Thats if i decide thats the colour that im going to go with.

Grab the name of one and put it into google images, it usually comes up with some cars that have been sprayed that colour

My understanding is,

The pearl component in pearl paint jobs is a bunch of fine particles that are added to a colour or sprayed on mixed in with a clear coat, followed by the clear coat on its own. It's what the light picks up at certain angles to give the paint a hint of that colour.

Candy jobs are a base colour then a series of translucent coats like coloured clears over the top, followed by the actual clear coats. You more coats the darker the colour goes.
