I realise this is less than you want, and I totally understand if you aren't interested in the offer, but given it has a spun bearing, I'm more or less buying it for the block and the head (most would argue that the crank would be salvageable if ground to the next undersize, and I won't necessarily argue with that. 3 of the rods should be good too, and the 4th maybe, but maybe not.
Since it's interstate, I can't see it in person beforehand, so I've got to try and do a 'sherlock holmes' as to why it might have spun a bearing. It could have been oil starvation, it might be a combo of poor maintenance/driver abuse (and I mean the bloke who damaged it, not you mate!), maybe it was allowed to get ridiculously hot. If it _was_ the latter, it might mean that the head is warped or cracked, or in some way damaged. So given that I've got a few a15 motors now, I'm really just chasing the block and head. and likely mostly the block (due to above concern about the head) I'll offer $50 for the block, or $100 for the lot if that suits you. If not, no hard feelings at all, all the best with the sale. I can transfer money into your account tuesday of next week, but wouldn't be able to collect for a couple of weeks (I was supposed to be going to Nyngan this long weekend, but then the flood situation has put that on hold a couple of weeks, to let things get back to normal on the roads up that way). If it's agreeable to you, great, let me know, if not, again, no worries, couldn't hurt to ask. Thankyou for your time.
