It's stiffer and firmer now but handles better from all accounts at approx 1-1.5 inch lower so far lol..... He may be converted yet hahaha

Luckys d's was small and tight, and then his car ;-P

He can post a side pic as was late when left and no good shot on camera.

He was happy with height. Looks nice and flat. I jumped in the hstch and didnt drop stuff all. It jiggled a bit in the rear over the lane way on way out suggesting its a little stiff but will be fine on road.

I didnt think it was much of a risk in this case as already close to flat and
hardened already with extra leaf for more strength. So I took the risk and went
for Micks flipping suggestion at his special rear entry garage :)

So far so good on the way home last night well see after a few days of driving
but I have faith it will be perfect even with 44 year old rear shockies.

I did it to a ford esky in the past and I swore to never again flip springs but since
they where already hardened its easily reversed if not satisfied.

Now to find some shortened rear shockies for a possible small group buy in the
future maybe after tax return time?

The Mosquitos had more sting in the rear than Mick though! :P

here is the way she was before clearly a gap in the rear guard to tire
will get another in a few days for the difference

So, let me get this straight...

Mik let D into his rear entry only workshop, then pumped up his tight rear end using his pole handle giving it the jack in order to do a "flip" job. Then when all is said and done D's rear is a bit wonky exiting the driveway... And D's reply is that there wasn't any serious risk???

Maybe it's just me.

But then, the last time I was at Mik's place I went in the front but exited through the rear.

And in loved every minute of it don, was almost like a reach around.

It wasn't wonky at all, like that bumpy lane way is as you know, makes things jiggle when they wiggle.

That's probably why his rear main seal discharged a little dribble in excitement
