what work is there to make a DE+t that makes it too much work? all you have to do is bolt the turbo stuff on and make up one water line
i ran a DE+t for 6 months of daily thrashing with not one issue. it went a whole heap harder than my DET and had a smaller turbo and smaller exhaust exhaust than the DET do people get the ecu tuned when they put just a front mount on? or a pod filter? or a larger exhaust? or up the boost by a couple of psi? coz from what ive seem they usually dont bother with the small changes as the standard maps will cope, its AFM based so it is slightly flexible to the basic charge going in and charge coming out thing more compression isnt really going to change much, sure if you up the boost without getting it tuned on a higher comp engine you are asking for trouble. but 9.5:1 comp is hardly high compression, so on the standard 7psi i very much doubt anyone will have any issues i know its an old thread but figure if people are going to look at it they might as well see some accurate info im planning on building a 9.5:1 CA to put back into my sierra as it would make a lot nicer engine for 4x4ing, with a t25g and the 9.5:1 comp there is no shortage torque down low and pretty much nothing in the way of lag. i will just be running all the standard DET management and i very much doubt i'll ever see any issues that are caused by the slightly higher comp

if you want good response and power with low psi then high comp is better than low comp. As pointed out higher comp spools the turbo up faster so better overall driving at lower psi with t25. If you want more psi with 9.5 you need good tuning.

it's not that higher compression spools the turbo faster, it's that the engine is more responsive off boost
