any body use j15 engine from 1500 ute ???

have a j15 engine at my joint i saved from a scrap heap. still turns over easily but tapet cover missing and manifolds. anyone interested or are they poo!!!!! was running not long ago.

it has a cast iron head and double valve springs. anyone know if they're any good????? haven't really heard anyone talking bout em on here. has j15 on the engine number

No they are not much chop for performance. Great for small boat sea anchors though, very heavy.

Would be a great engine to make a welder or generator out of....
They would run all day everyday for a very very long time before they died.

yeah there a forklift engine as well. There a big waste of time i had one in my 1500 and it was terrible.
