Thought i'd be kind enough to go ahead and login and give a full update on the datsun A15 build as its been some very long time

The car has had many changes, its been through 3 different engine setups the A15 with the twin webers, it A15 blow through carby, and now an all out custom A15 EFI turbo setup

The rig run down now is as follows;
Wisco Pistons 40 thou over bore and fire ringed
Max speeding rods
ARP Studs
236@50 Camshaft
Tomei 1.5mm MLS Headgasket
Tomei lightweight pushrods
TOmei Double valve springs
Tomei seats collars and retainers
Custom Dizzy with Halleffect
Custom Crank trigger pick up 60 -2
Custom NFNR intake manifold - TPS sensor added
Custom Turbo manifold
Garret T25 Turbo internally gated
750 Seiemens Injectors
Custom surge tank with lift pump and inline 044 pump through all aeroflow AN lines and Fuel Reg - Return to tank setup
Haltech Elite 750 ECU
Haltech Wideband controller
Haltech sensors and distribution block
Custom Direct clutch 190mm brass button clutch
Toyota Steelcase gearbox with dellow conversions bellhousing and holden W series clutch fork
New tailshaft
R31 diff with billet 31 spline axels
Running Straight E85

not sure if i have missed much else besides CAN inputs, MAC valve and specific sensors but happy to advise

Only just really sorted some issues had with the ECU and got it started over a week ago just need to do a few little things sort out vaccum lines and other little peices make sure its buttoned up completely then take it to get tuned with a mate and see what power we make, with the setup around the 14 psi hoping around the 120-130kw should be acheivable and if wanting ram that boost up and should definately see above those 200hp

That's a pretty setup! Any clues on cost of manifolds etc.? I had a look at the Facebook page but nothing jumped out. I could see a lot of machining so I can't imagine it's cheap.

NFNR Manifold from South Africa Modified for my needs from williem cost me $1300.00 thats with no injectors or any of the AN fittings check valves ect.

The turbo manifold a close mate does fabrication for work and made the manifold along with another mates manifold as a high mount for a T2871 turbo
The manifolds only cost me the price of the steampipe which was really nothing i designed the collector and had it cut

You wont find anything really on FB of prices or what not but if your really interested in the NFNR parts i have contact numbers for a bloke who is doing the import of the parts and postage to your door. The guys have everything you could need for what you may want i did most myself as many of the things they do i wanted top shelf items verse there simple crank trigger setup from a voxel astra and having tiny Fuel line setups, they dont have the parts or resources we do like with haltech at our door or being able to just drop into rocketperformance and get speedflow fittings.

Happy to answer any questions of further detail on the build, wiring ect

The W50 - Toyota Steelcase can be found nearly anywhere here in aus as there were used behind so many holdens, fords, chryslers ect with 6 or v8 they cheap to get your hands on much easier to find and use then a crappy t50, albeit alot cheaper then a T50 as well cause they are so readily available

Strong boxes, dellow conversions sorted out the bellhousing for me and we used a holden W series clutch fork that is cut down as they very long and welded. The bearing carrier was machined for the thurst bearing

The bellhousing, pivot ball, speedo gear, clutch fork, gaskets, weld on yolk, uni joint, slip joint ect cost me $1700 from dellow jeff is a great bloke and was always willing to help out.

I'm interested in the gearbox conversion.

Did Jeff machine the T50 Bell Housing differently to suit the W50? I guess he could if the casting was close enough.
Did you have to send any parts to his shop?
Did you get the tail shaft done locally after you had all the other bits?

I have a W55 or similar that I picked up and hoarded years ago with the thought of fitting to the A15. Never got around to investigating further....
