Well Id like to make the car a drag racer but id also like it to still be street drivable. I don't want to put a bigger motor in it, but I very much thank you all for the advice and tips. hopefully I can let you all know about my progress.

First thing you really must do is save up for an electronic points conversion kit (pertronix, crane cams, both are good) will cost you about 100-120 bucks but is worth every cent. Comes with all instructions, all you need is a screwdriver and an 8mm spanner and 15mins of spare time. Make sure you have new plug leads, dizzy cap, and rotor button when you do it. Save up another 35 bucks and get a Bosch HEC715 high output epoxy filled coil off ebay to replace the old oil filled coil and ballast resistor. Make sure you join the wires together where the ballast resistor used to plug into.
I know it might be boring and takes a bit of time, but read thru all of the info in the tech wiki religiously, it has all the good information which has appeared on this forum, it has saved me (and 100's of others) tons of times in the past.

buy another car that already goes fast is the best option you will find out 5 years later after u add the bills up.or change the camshaft and go from there.i learnt there no point bolting on mad stuff with a stock cam,if only the A series was ohc and easier to change

I'd look into the vehicle modification rules for your local area/Arizona before thinking about engine conversions KDSB110.
How hard are L-series engines to come by over there?

yeah im not a hater of the l series thats for sure mik, especialy after seeing that orange 1600 at datnats last year, after driving a b210 for a while i reckon L series 210 would be better then 1200.
