Yeah think so. Braced from under from plenum to flange so if can add sheild from exhaust bolts to some part of brace or down wards leaving air only around silicone pipes

Sillycon hey no welding? Id be inclined to use a piece of cement board with alloy plate on the heat side :)
or raid neighbours old Hardi cement board from his bungalow should have enough asbestos.

Ok looking at making a heat shield between intake manifold and extractors, to deflect heat away from intake runners.
So info I got was use 0.4 mm alloy sheet Can I just bolt to exhaust bolts with brackets? Silicon pipe on intake has temp range to 190deg c and I'm sure heat from extractors may be more and silicon bout 5cm from extractors
