the ute's back up and running, it idles like a purring kitten now rather than
an old washing machine and is quite pleasant to cruise in compared to the previous setup...
it goes really well too!

Yay! Now let's see if Vic roads give you trouble changing engine numbers over with your old engineers report. Unlikely but a old guy I met with a v6 FC ute got headaches even with a 10year old engineers report. Went to a different office and all good

yeah its a series 2 rx7 engine, basically the same setup that it started out with..
just with my lightened flywheel and hd clutch that i was already using

back in the day the ute ran 15.5@85mph with the tired old 12a it had before it was rebuilt
