My machine is now running. Back tomorrow for a second day on the dyno. 35 power runs today, experimenting with this that and the other. Very happy with the performance figures so far. Its a solid little plonker. Finally seeing some fruit from some solid engineering and years of collecting all those works and hard to get parts. Cant wait to see what it does at the island. Did I mention it is loud.....

Nice work Benny can't wait too see and hear it. Got the y back together again for the 2nd time today will be hitting the dyno again early next week to make sure all is ok then off to the island

Can't make it Sunday and will only have the Ute on a permit so can't have it out after dark Friday either

ummm any one got a compression tester they will bring to datnats..... im still tracking the car but have a bit of a puff of smoke off idle and when i rev. so its either rings or valve stem seals.

either way it will need new rings or seals. the engine had some issues after a rebuild with startup so wasnt run in under the optimal conditions till piggy got it going on petrol. so i have a felling it will be rings, valve stem seals or a possible burnt valve from the lpg.
Simon noticed it didnt feel it was running on all 4 cyls completely on the dyno.



Who doesnt like a good ring job.

will need to test first and then see if can find someone to do it.
