I had too many family commitments to spend much time at the track. Saw some good cars though. It was sad to see the zed car hit the wall in the main straight before lunch.

It was a good day spectating.
Good to meet a few new people and get around so many well turned out datsun's.
A few cars went home a little worse off but that's the nature if the beast isn't it.
Benny - sorry to see your car in that state, I hope most things can either be reused or replaced with ease and reasonably cheap. How was it running before your little BBQ?

Next time this even is on I'd hope to be involved as sitting back was no good.

Was an awesome day, I had some great fun on the track for my first time, got lots to improve on!! Haha think some brakes and suspension would probably be a good move next....

Was good meeting some new people and puttin same faces to user names (who h names are already beginning to escape my mind.... :S lol)

Feeling very sorry for the poor zed bloke who totalled his car, and benny after his little fire incident!!

Ed drove great in his little SC a14, he had,me on every straight as that thing just gas go from woah.

Just needs brake and,suspension and he will be fast as.

yes there was a fire... Engine bay is pretty toasted now. most of the wiring is fried and hot enough for the sound deadening to ignite inside the cabin, I did get rather scared there for a minute, couldn't see from all the smoke. 1 kg extinguishers do next to nothing. Anyway its not a total loss, engine performed faultlessly all day, plenty of grunt with top power delivery.
