If you want to give as a call with your concerns, we are more that happy to help out as much as possible. The hight you have in the front is as low as i would ever run my 1200's, any lower your handling will go to #OOPS#. We have built some quick race cars and found that your times will get slower the lower you go. Also you mustn't have much suspention travel on the rear with it that low.

Saying that we can make them as low as you want, but you will loose travel, handling and the springs will be not to near captive, thus macking your car defectible.

Cheers Scott

A lil disappointing when you think of the money that you spent to buy them you think that they would be able to be slammed way lower

It's probably at the perfect height in terms of handling and not causing any issues with scrubbing guards and firewall but it's not super low that's for sure.

That highlights the benefit of doing it yourself so you can weld on the coilover section as low as you like!

My minimum height is limited by the offset of my wheels. I can only wind the lower perch down to a certain height before the perch gets too close to my tyre/rim. It can go a lot lower than your pic though.

looks like the first 1200 needs the front and rear springs swapped around!

My mate was bored and drunk felt like cutting and welding and decided to modify struts for me.. Welded a threaded sleeve on my strut after cutting the original purch off and cut a pair of stanza springs then we installed them and wound them right the way down.. Still wasn't low enough so we got the oxy to the springs whilst compressed and this is the end product.. Bodgy as #OOPS# they're now living at the tip but here's a pic

Interesting

Has anyone else had this issue with this product?
I have a set of coil overs under my bed and also want to tuck in the wheels behind guards.

coilover springs come in several lengths. chances are if you go shorter you may also need a tender spring to keep it captive at full droop. As unfamilia said, make sure you check the travel on the shocks though. Bottom them out just once can be enough to stuff the foot valve in your expensive shocks...
