i have a so called "t28BB" here, but want to confirm

went to nissan silvia website but every next post contradicts the last

anyone have an easy way to check, the ID tag is missing unfortunately

there is shaft play in that the wheels can move laterally in the housing, but no movement longitudinally (aong the common shaft)...should i be worried about the condition of it or is some lateral movement accepted as normal?

easiest way to tell if its ball bearing is where you bolt the chra to the turbine housing, 360 degree thrust bearing will have 4 bolts and ball bearing 6 bolts like in the picture. i circled the ones im talking about

well usually as long as it spins freely and there's minimal movement it should be fine, its hard to say without out seeing it. what the compressor wheel look like? not discoloured or anything? are the edges smooth?
