It's not possible to kick this hobby

A week after you sell your datsun someone will find you in the bathroom curled up in a ball, rocking back and forth, shaking and crying for your beloved datsun.......

Seriously though, I have been out for a few years now and couldn't help myself when I found a great deal. So don't be too worried just yet, it's just the beginning.

Try struggle thru, save and hang on to the 12 !!! If you dont owe anything on it, try work around selling it.
I thought about it last year - to build a house - and there was no way I could justify the few $$$ I'd get for it compared to loosing it and having to start again later on !!

Once you've owned a datsun, the bug never goes away. I'm sure you'll own another.
I'm going to sell my 1200 too. I just need to find the time to get it back into a fit state to sell.

Sorry to hear the news, but I'd echo other people's sentiments - stick around on the forum, and maybe look at your current situation as being 'between datsun 1200 projects' rather than out of the hobby forever!

Gday dont lose heart, I sold up in 1980 for house deposit......got back into dato's in 2006 when house payed off and the kids grown. ....keep the faith and good luck with future. Cheers Bazz

I sold my A series 4 years ago but am still here, now you dont have to work on the car you can spend more time on the forum.
