Hey guys ive sold some parts to a guy in nsw now need to work out how to get them there. Anyone know of a shipping or courier company that doesn't charge drug money? The item I want to send is an alloy roll bar so its big but not heavy.

ego prices have gone up a bit,but are still reasonable if you go depot 2 depot,if u select the item as being an 'automotive part' they charge u more straight away but,so i try not select that description.they are pretty easy going on dimensions and wieghts i always lie a bit they never check.

General rule of thumb for weight/size comparison. 250kg per cubic meter. So bulky, light items can cost a bit to send.

Problem I had with their T&Cs was that all the liability rests on the consigners head, including any additional charges because the consignee wasn't there to accept the item.
Also if they desire they take ownership of the item (after failure to deliver) and can dispose of it without your consent, which might be ok for the seller to avoid additional delivery charges, not so good for the consignee who has payed for the item.
If you go with them, I recommend you get the buyer to pay for the shipping and you facilitate the pickup. All i can say is read the T&C for any of these companies if you are the consigner.

I ended up using fastways, not very economical for one off sales but haven't done me wrong yet and warent the delivery up to $1500 without excess cost.
If the item is under 1.1 mtrs long (doubt it would be) don't forget Australia post who are more geared to doing one off items.
