Gday i need to replace the uni joint on stock standard 120y tailsharft which are pressed in.can you get new shaft and unijiont in Sydney .what have other used

Any mechanic will be able to change your UNI joints dude pretty easy job not that pricey either

Non-replaceable u-joints. Most mechanics and even some shaft specialty shops won't or can't replace them.

You can buy replacment joints that work in the non-replaceaable shafts. Click Universal Joint for more details.

Take to tail shaftshop and looking about 200ish to Harold joints cut new replaceable ones welded in and balancing. Might be more.

Most use falcon.1tonner ones or Holden rodeo ones.I looked into it in Melb last year. But I had bw 120y with rebuildable unis. Cut shut balanced And new unis 180

Or just replace the joints w/o modifying the tailshaft. Rockford part number 430-9, $25 each at http://www.driveshaftsuperstore.com/u-joints_staked_type.htm -- for Japanese built models.
