this car was originally automatic and when i purchased it, it still had plastic on the door trims, log books, and original 56,000miles on the clock. completely stock but it is far from stock at the moment. the paint is original, with original panels. the left hand front guard has had a dent bogged previously. this car has NO RUST. the body is fantastic besides the 1971 paint work which is showing its age.

Just Finish the job and thrash the tits off it! Upsets me seeing Another sweet original datsun totally molested and left unfinished. Shame on you

to be honest, the body is very good. it had 2 tiny specks of rust and a busted front guard when i bought it. it now has new guards that require painting.

i think i forgot to mention i have a spare CA18 engine to throw in and a million spare parts.

if i dont get any offers within the next month i may have to throw it on ebay and see how i go.

Yeah the body looks very clean and a nice conversion Am so tempted at times to just get rid of all i have and buy something like this but knowing me i would still pull it apart and change things anyway. $10,000 as it sits is closer to the mark and again tempting. Free Bump

I think it's worth what someone is willing to pay. If the workmanship is high with the way everything is fitted and the paint is in reasonable/good condition, I'd say its worth it.
There is a monster amount of work in this if you are doing it properly and as a weekend hobby. Buying something at this stage makes it so much easier as its all there in one spot already

i know i wont get $15,000 for it. i dont know what its actually worth these days so i just put $15,000.


i will bump it to $10,000 and see if i get any interest.
