look in the tech wiki dude.

easier to make mounts for the ca to the stock xmember.

rear end get a r31 lsd or similar. even a pintara diff and add a mini spool.

you will need tunnel mods etc.

s13 has been done sfront suspension but its a mix and match of parts.

check the wiki.

where you located? as ca18det 1200's dont turn heads like they used to (its almost like they all came stock like that now lol- no offence fatto or 1200rc lol_)

My first thought is why not just prep the Silvia. Don't know what rules package you have to prep to but my guess is going to 4 link rear and using S13 suspension parts etc that you'd end up in some mod class that was basically tube frame cars (well at least here in the USA it would. The joy of 1200's is they are light, the S13 parts will likely add 150KG to the car and take the nice balance out of it.
Now with that said as you fabricate you could add as much of the S13 parts as possible, as mentioned you'll need to fab up a tranny tunnel, crossmember and either narrow the rear end as well as the fenders. There have been several SR20 powered 1200's (search the site) and they do go like mad.

I'd use the Silvia as well. Comparing the 230rwkw CA18DET Datsun 1200 coupe I had that was a no-compromise race car running AvGas, no muffler & sidepipe, completely stripped out with weld-in cage, JTS/Koni suspension and the softest hillclimb tyres you could get at the time (Toyo RA1 40UTQG)

to my road going 200rwkw 180SX in full street trim with climate control, full interior, full exhaust with cat and mufflers etc and medium compound tyres (Federal FZ201 60UTQG) I bought for sprints rather than hillclimbs,

the best split times were 13.68 vs 13.91 and 11.20 vs 11.52, so that's 0.23 and 0.32 sec faster for the old Datto. Give the 180SX the same power and same soft rubber the old Datto had, and the tables would well and truly be turned!

The 180SX diff ratio didn't really suit Mt Cotton either, I changed that. And the springs were to suit the highest avg speed track in the country - Lakeside, not a slow hillclimb circuit like Mt Cotton, so it was far to stiff to really work properly there. I softened it by about 30% after that first event. Plus I fitted a set of 'pineapples' to set the rear subframe to maximum traction which would have helped alot off the line and out of the 1st and 2nd gear corners. But it sold before I had a chance to go back again.
Not to mention that I hadn't really driven there for about 5yrs since I had the Datto.
I've got no doubt the S13 is a better platform. And if you're building it for hillclimbs, there's almost 200kg you could remove from the car as well.
