So my block mounts on the chassis are threaded, where the rear mount bolts up to. Can I tap these out to M10? It is a pretty enclosed space so I can't really see much thats going on. CHeers

Ive seen the the welded nuts com loose inside the mount, so make sure you drill the nut out with a sharp drill of correct size and use a sharp tap.
I'm sure that will work, just take it easy when you do it.

I once cut out the captive nut in the chassis rail for the sway bar... it wasn't a basic nut but a large square block of metal, assuming they are the same in the gearbox mount cups, taping them out will be fine there will be heaps of meat/strength in them still
