I just got a reply email from the guy in the link I posted above and this is what he said

There the
new 15x8 0 offset rota shakotans and I had to roll all 4 fendersThe front was 280 z coilovers and the rear was flipped stock leaf springs.

By the look of it they seem to be fitting quite nicely.

I just measured the rims I already have on my coupe and it seams they are already 13x8 inch with zero offset and they have 205 tyres on them. So that answers my question. The shakotans will fit with. O
Worries. At the most ill need to streatch the front gurds a little

I've got b-45 simmons on mine, 15x8 inch on the rear, running 215x55, and 15 x 8inch on the front running 195x45, the 4 stud mitsubishi's have the same pattern and the same offset as what's needed on the datsuns :D

What is the go with people getting 8's for the rear and 7a's for the front as the suppliers I have spoken to don't do a different size set. It's really annoying as I would like 8-8.5s on the rear and 7-7.5's on the front.
I have tubbed the rear so able to go right to rail and rolled the guards. Front I have maddat's coil ofer and adjustable package with lip on the guards rolled. I'm at the point of getting my wheels sorted so looking up as much as I can.
If you have any light on this I'd like some clarity

It's easy to get different size wheels. Either:
* use a different supplier
or
* buy two 8", then later buy two 7"

I have that +0 combination on my ute (the SSRs), but have considerable fender flare in back and some flare in front (not simple rolling the guard).

They'll maybe fit on stock bodywork without rubbing if you get +20. There's lots of room on mine between tire and spring.

I have tried a few suppliers around melbourne but they don't want to sell different size sets unless its a 'custom' order that doubles the price
I don't see the logic In buying two different size full sets to achieve what I want.

If pumping the guards a little to get 15x8 under with out using bolt on flares then thanks for the good news. I'm trying to avoid using them but would like 7s up front

Rolling the guards won't do it. 8" wide +0 wheel sticks out from the side of the body. Pumping will give more clearance. But the wheel still sticks out. With a lot of tyre stretch and very low profile it won't rub unless you go over a large bump.

Look how far 8" +0 it stick out

First of all that red coupe looks tough! Love it!

Yeah I see what you mean.
The rear won't matter to much as I'm getting another diff shortened with the 4link brackets on it and selling the 31 diff that's set up for leaves. The rear is also tubbed to the rails so there is a little more room there to!
With adjustable front end, a bit of caster to pull it in and a guard a +15 may be my best option yeah????
