Estyre I might be interested in some engine bits, what do you have? I only need to pack a swag and drive from one end of the Freeway to the other, so no postage required!

hey jmac nah no castor rods ,as for the lights ,some have different lenses broken and frames ,so as a whole ,the lot of them would be good to build a good set of lights ,thats why i got them ,not sure what theyre worth though ,pm me an offer and i can send you some pics ,if its just lenses your after i could put a complete let of lenses together ,that wouldnt be a problem if its only the lenses you need

D i spoke to the guy that used to own the carbs ,all jets were there and so were the fuel float and other major internalk bits ,if they were missing why didnt you mention it before ,first ive heard of it

as for engine parts ive got

complete a12 needs manifolds dizzy and little fiddly bits
a14 flywheel
l series gx/su carbs ,on manifold running setup ,with air bolx and linkages
stock a12 cam and gear
homemade (not by me) turbo manifold suit all a seris ,with oil line and a shady t25
stromberg carb ,cd175 suit turbo setup (not jetted)
60a bellhousig ad rear housing ,pretty much everything except the gear set
2 stock a series cabs ,12 i think ,one is late model with electric choke and the other is the older style
mostly complete a12 ,runs but has lowish comp on cylinder 3 ,new head gasket ,needs sump gasket ,water pump ,dzzy ,oil pump and has a fiarly lumpy cam in it
a12 heads ,varying condition
1200 ute tailshaft ,needs cleaning as theres some surface rust on the front yoke (or replace it with another on
near new fuel pump ,used for about a week then found out it couldnt supply enough fuel to my heavily worked a15 and was dropping pressure at around 8000rpm ,so i went electric


also got 1200 ute leaf springs with new bushes ,painted red ,u bolts and shocky mounts

also if anyones keen ill take 200 for the coupe and the ute shells ,or 100 each ! with spares for the coupe

mate I'll happily give you $200 for the coupe doors (sight unseen) as long as they are complete (I don't mind if the interior trim is stuffed as long as the windows and window mechanisms and lock/handles are all there

Withg regard to the tail-lights - I basically need a complete set, lenses, backing plates - the whole assembly. I've got a coupe shell, but it has no tail-lights whatsoever. If you can make a set out of what is there, I'm happy to buy them. When I say "if you can make a set" I don't actually mean I'm expecting you to have to do that for me. What I mean is - 'if one working pair can be made from the bits and pieces' sort of thing. If that is a possibility, I'm keen to move forward with working out a price that is fair. I'd very much like pictures if possible, of all the lenses, so I can work out what is what, so to speak.

Also count me in for the ute tailshaft would $80 do.

I realise this would all then need to be shipped over. If you can get it to a pack and send near you, I'll get them to pack it all on a pallet and send it here at my costs (I'll have to work out prices with them, but I'm ok with doing that.

So - can you come up with a price for the doors, the tailshaft, and whatever combo of parts it'd take to make a pair of complete tail light assemblies (I'm ok with $200 for the doors, and $80 for the tailshaft, let me know if you want to work something else out) and I'll have to hold on working out a $$ for the tail lights till I see pics.

If I could ask (and I'm not interested in getting into the 'he said she said' stuff - just curious if maybe I can help) - what parts are missing from the carbs? Ironically floats and throttle plates (and throttle shafts) are actually pretty easy to get/replace, but the 'hard stuff' is generally either the main body itself, or the fuel bowl covers, such that they are, since mostly that stuff is only going to come from another carb that was put aside for parts. Note that i'm not saying that that makes either party better or worse off, but if there _is_ a particular part missing, maybe, just maybe, I can help out, and if I've got it I'll pass it D's way for free, which (I hope) would sort of help both parties out. Heck I might even be able to make the part if absolute worse comes to worse (It won't have a weber name cast on it or anything but I might be able to make a functionally identical replacement!)

How much are you looking for the a14 flywheel and leaf springs? Also, any oval port heads amongst your collection? If so, what condition are they in? As for the engines themselves, are they early or late A12's?
