hi it looks like the cover wont hide the bolts also that brace wont work for standard 1200 it will hit the carby the brace needs to be corolla gti style and brace the firewall just a thought 2 adjustable rods and a firewall bracket :]

making a blank for the cover with a large thread and being able to weld the supports for the strut brace so you can have a strut brace and a nice cover over the tower too :)

im thinking of a plate that bolts on top and has a big thread on the outside of the plate then a cover screws on that plate can even engrave on the covers if wanted to or anodise them as well
