Bought the middle one the other day! Does that make me a Datsun nut?

If you then go out & buy a Sunny, you're a collector with a crowded front street.

too true and so many tudors is always a good investment in cars.

Nice purchase and take into account the white one in front is about 100kg heavier than your current red currant purchase :)

I reckon rebuild your A12 to GX specs with the twin Hitachi's, the gx cam or so, twin valve springs for the cam, plus the A10 exhaust manifold, which I think is shaped like a GX header, though I'm probably wrong. This slight power up will make the car quick & nimble, not mind shatteringly fast, but you have 2 other cars to use for that, I'd suggest you make the 120Y coupe that car. A friend of my Aunt had a 1000 sedan with column shift auto, with an A12. It was 'quick & nimble' except for the hole caused by the auto trans. Was great fun sitting on an indicated 80 MPH on the expressway. Don't forget the front brakes should be swapped to discs for safety, & 2 or 3 different people on this site have conversions that work. Depending on your experience, you might have want to try something else. Even 1200 discs & hubs fit the front stub axle, then you just have to make/buy a mounting bracket for the caliper.

A10 in the shead filled with oil and stocky A12 with 76mm bores makes it a nice rice cooker. Otherwise the A10 gives nice economy and can be improved in response with well setup electronic ignition and 4.4 rear.
