If only SRs would fit in a datsun 1000, 1200 and up guys are lucky.

Shoota how much more would a dry sumped td45det cost over the Rb30 hybrid? a buddy has sunk big time into his Rb30 hybrid and prefers hed done a dry sumped TB45DET if he had the chance again. Heaps of parts now.

I'm sure TB45 or 48 for that matter would be great but just too big. The TB's in standard form are pretty sluggish (147kw/180kw) so need a monster huffer to make big power.
The RB is a tight squeeze in the Skyline. I can't imagine it would be a straight bolt in affair like the RB30 (obviously a bit more to it than that) once you factor in a turbo or two.
So far my calculations tell me the RB30/26 will cost me around $5000-$6000 to make around 400kw at the wheels. That's me building it, utilising as much of my current engine as possible (head, manifolds, twin 2860 Garretts, etc) and it being a rock solid engine (forged pistons, I/H beam conrods, ACL Pistons, etc.
If you were getting someone to do it for you you'd be looking at close to $10000 I'd say. Or you can buy a R.I.P.S long motor capable of 1500hp for $15000!
Spool Imports sell their bottom end for $7500.

They are sluggish but different cams are the go for them.
Nice inlets available now inc. ex manis, rods and more.
With dry sumping I heard they can be made to fit but also would need bonnet hump either way its alot of work for extra 1.8 litres when rb30 bottom ends are dirt cheap everywhere and bolt up.

Theres a seriously mad white GTR R33 running up and down highpoint shopping centre Rosammond road daily after 5pm giving it the big squirt its actually the most ballistic thing Ive heard in a while. Scares the crap out of everyone within 400 metres of it creating some serious infrasound that mess with the guts.

Sounds nice!

With the package, considering splitting everything. If there's no real movement in the next few days will work out individual prices and plonk it on Firesport, Ebay, etc. Could work out for the best, I might make more $$$!!

If there's anyone serious chop chop!!

I was really interested. Then I noticed where you are. I probably should have taken note of that to start with. Haha.

Where are you?
It''s $200 to ship it all to Sydney.
Might be able to negotiate that into the whole package.

Got quite a few requests for different bits and pieces on the various places I''ve listed it so looks like getting split up.

I'll create split list by the weekend if not sold. First right of refusal to people that put in dibs.
