Yesterday the spider gears in my diff went bang so no it makes horrible noises so bye bye diff. My question is is it worth doing the proper lsd conversion or should i just fix the current BW 120y diff? I know i will be looking over 1000 for a lsd conversion. What is the best option for value for money lsd conversion? is R31 still a good choice? Thanks for your help

I Think R31 would be a good choice,Because its Popular choice for diff swap in 1200's.

If it cost less to fix the Bw 120y diff then your better off.

If you are running A-series power, imo anything bigger than a H165 is just carrying around unnecessary extra weight.

Get another bw68. They are fairly strong

Don't go r31 unless you are running a big motor, its not just extra weight, its extra driveline turning mass, it will reduce your horsepowers at the wheels :). as the boys say bw68 or h165, can get them pretty cheap.

Agreed. I was going to go r31 for LSD and disks but really not warranted even for L series.

Get rear disks easy enough but if you liked bw68 get another.
