So I currently have a stock front end in my 1200 sedan. I want to go lower all round and upgrade the front brakes at the same time. I have looking into swapping 1200 discs and struts which seems easy and solves my brake problem but not the low part of it. The car is just a daily so i dont want anything outrageous but i do need advice. What are the best cost effective ways of improving braking and lowering the front of the car 1.5 - 2 inches. Cheers Rohan.

Found these on oz dat.

Datsun 240k front struts big discs and callipers with heavy duty springs modded to fit Datsun 1200. Comes with wishbones, castors and ready to bolt straight in. $100 ONO

What are the pros and cons of 240k struts and brakes?

There's heaps available and many options!
I have rx7 series 4/5 brakes with verada disks, I have hilux 4x4 calipers and matching disks, sumitomo calipers and disks, girlock calipers bolt small and large style ect there's also rx7 and Audi disks, r32/33 combos just depends on budget
As for Coilovers it depends on what you want to achieve as far as height/camber/stiffness as there are many options with these as well! I have stanza Coilovers, 200b/240k Coilovers, 200b shortened struts with 240z inserts, now also looking into even shorter strut setups
Then u have s13 if you wish to go that

I'm wondering what has a compatible spindle angle. For instance I believe the early z to be unique in the world of datsun. They are not the same as the 510, (1600 for you all on the other side of the planet) 280 zx, or anything else datsun that I know of for that matter.

Is the 1200 angle the same as Z or the ZX? Or is some other animal?

thanx
