comparison doesnt need 2 into 1 section touched just top section with bigger inlet and tapered a little more straight.
40mm should do as it will suit easy to source weber trumpets or velocity stacks and make it easier to make a plenum then. You could also supply the plenum laser cut to suit.

yer my reason for it being that tall was the flow would be straighter thus being more effective i will do an other one over weekend make it a tad shorter and a wider mouth but we def on a winners here dave

I hear you Dave :)
the longer pipe can be tigged on according to preferred owner setup. Here is another take (a bad one should be tapered curved but couldnt do it) of using reinforcing bridges and later maybe add some midway injector nozzle embossed nipples to face the inlet ports straight on from midway on the outside in case someone wants injection they the material is there to just drill and tap. If not can easily be machined off the side. Attach file: modded mini man.jpg (17.39 KB)![]()

maybe wall thickness can be increase also and height reduced a tad more if you like the equal flow will still be there regardless of a 1cm or 2cm less which will be easier to cnc if needed for a casting or just billet runs for those interested.
