If you think the subey market is worthwhile go for it the long nose r180 is what you can do but will need reinforcing fins and ribs, larger billet piece to start with as there arent any short nose ones I know of, while the late r200 are all short nose.
The R180 long nose is a nice diff and easier to fit over the r200 and will suit 240 260z enthusiasts also which is a decent market.

Dont try and make a case for both just do a nicely finned r180 then youll have subey, Z, 1600, 180 and 200SSS and even perhaps miata and other kit car builders after them as atm there is nothing to replace the all alloy sierra 7.5 inch IRS diffs which where all dried out from the sierra cosworths in the 80s and used in every lightweight car project and racer for the last 30 years.

Go for it R180 it is!

R180 lsd are hard to come by in a stumpy nose and never seen them actually but the long nose R180 are subeys Rex mainly but theres aftermarket LSDs for cheap by OBX...

you can win many hearts by doing an alloy MX5 lsd casing also which have OBX lsds also available and perhaps a good business choice....

If you have time development is free on your watch but really the sheer size of an R200 would suffice with 6000 series alum just use
many fins for strength and cooling, through bolts and smaller sump
like on the alfa one in the pics.
Lsd options are getting limited and Id pay well for a billet casing
as attaining R200 lsds is easy and cheap compared to H series LSDs.

Uhh. Yeah okay, Unv-Ute, thank you for raging me up! 1200RC you have a really bizarre perception of things, interesting.

9 Axis sounds pretty sweet. You should have some great fun with that.

What is your companys' name?
