Just an update for everyone regarding Simmons wheels that are being re-manufactured by Tempe tires

I have been into contact with them awhile ago regarding smaller wheel sizes and pattern's and to my surprise they are now making the Simmons OM SERIES and B45 in 16 inch with a 4 stud pattern so if you are interested in getting some custom wheels to your specific offset and are like me been wanting some decent Simmons but just cant find the right size and offset our worries are now fixed...

Here is an extract from my emails to Tempe tires -
Hey how's it going guys,

Just a quick question regarding the Simmons wheels, i understand the sizes and models you currently have on offer and are remaking the original Simmons wheels, but my main question is will you guys by chance be making the wheels in a smaller size again with a 4 stud pattern for the older smaller vehicles such as my Datsun 1200 Ute, older Mazda's or even the R31 skyline and many other brand's with 4 stud as i know a lot of people are chasing Simmons wheels on many forums even down to a 15-16 inch size for these cars and many other cars with a 4 stud pattern.
Is there by the chance that this may be brought about in the future?

I'd prefer it as smaller as well, but still 16" with 175 tires would fit in the guards and not scrub...

I know Tony simmons personally and the rest of the original team that used to manufacture the wheels here in Sydney [originally at Arncliffe, then lastly at Mascot] before manufacturing was shut down. My sister used to be his secretary at the Mascot site.

Anyways if you are looking for the smaller diameter wheels. Retro Wheels in Peakhurst Sydney bought and have the rights to the 15 inch and smaller simmons wheels. These include some of Tony's early designs in 12 inch [Hustler's from memory], 13's, 14's and 15's. The early 13 inch simmons are quite awesome but are expensive as they are made to order these days, typically in centre lock type fixing to the cars hub. These were mainly for formula cars. 4 and five stud patterns are availbe though. Tony has a big interest in Historic racing.

Three of the original team started up their own business located in Mascot [Wheel Centre Repairs] and are the guys I take my wheels to these days as they know a thing or two about wheels, repairing them. I had my 3 piece Dunlup Potenza rims restored by them.
