can you get a T25BB? is it with the .46 exhaust ratio?

thought you could only get T28BB with .64 ratio?

I want a top mount for a T25BB with 15psi on LPG and H20 and no more than 7000rpm just fat torque for massive midrange. The log style manifold should be enough as they are superior till 5200rpm in most applications and lose out 8-10% to equal length manis after that.

i bought a top mount off ebay, never actually ran it but when i got it i quickly noticed the poor quality of the unit. the metal is inferior and the ports are not lined up correctly inside which would cause inconsistent performance.

i ended up buying one from 6boost, top mount + garret gt3076r turbo and turbosmart wastegate. it is not cheap but an awesome setup if you can afford it. he has a few combo's you can run in terms of manifold/turbo/wastegate.

It's bottom mount. But you could always customise it.
If you cut and re-mig the turbo flange so it's on a better angle, that would certainly work ok.
It's quite nice for my first attempt.

Can you put a pic up Chis? sounds interesting is it straight out, top mount or bottom? problem is the bottom mount hits suspension tower.

I may have something.
I made a steam pipe manifold and dump pipe that moves the turbo forwards 5 - 10 cms.
It was only used for short time as I swapped to stainless.
Will need custom oil/water lines, but with you doing ca16, you are already doing this.

Was going DE but gave up when weighing up the cost of billet cams, bigger valves, porting, custom TBs running on Brand ecu, springs, custom header, custom cam belt and some other things when a reasonably stock ca16det on nistune would be way gutsier with less effort. No cant fit an SRVE in a 1000 :(

Ca16de+T block can be bore to 84mm as some have done on the exa forums.

Problem with stock ex mani is its just too far back for the turbo with no room for dump pipe and bottom mount sits turbo too close to suspension wishbone and support shoulders so will most like have to make a custom log mani from scratch using butt welds.

What ever you do don't get Maddat to make you one, unless you want to sent it back a few times to fix it so it properly fits, if only they trail fitted the stuf before they send it out.. I guess everything is of a jig there from 20 years ago

My 2cents

thought you were doing a DE?

i say stock, ceramic coating it would be nice though, a lot more design goes in to them than these aftermarket ones, unless you want big power there is no point upgrading especially if going for a cheap one
