There's different types of 316, not all are chloride (sea salt) resistant. Even the 304 should be fine if you keep it clean and have some polish or some kind of barrier on it. The guys in the paint shop recommended fireglaze years ago. From memory the chloride resistant 316 has less carbon in it.

They look good! Nice work.

I chose a thicker material and it is harder to work with, but more robust.

I shall endeavour to send PM's out tonight with payment details and prices. Sorry about the delay but I am absolutely under the pump at work with projects going on all over the place (both work and datsun related ).

Yeah 304 is okay....but 316 is best! I live by the beach so I'm cool with it.
