its not hard, you'll have to mod the tunnel anyway so it can be done with that

beautiful conversions or both green and blue

The 15-20 degree tilt wouldnt hurt. Good clearance for exhaust/inlet from steering box :)

Good old slant-rotor ...

Thanks very much for pics people. Very nice.

The 13b is carbie power so no worries about inlet manifolds providing I can still get air filter on for the local dirt road practice.

Just remember even a stock rotary will be night & day with bigger induction & exhaust they just suck and spit out more of everything. I had an rx5 with stock 13b in the late 80s that when I changed to a downdraft 48mm & headers instead of the heat exchange unit from factory & the thing just transformed itself to easily an extra 25-30hp.
They love to breathe so either IDA or have the 4 barrel worked by those in the know and get headers to suit.

15-20 degree will hurt, i ran a 4 degree slant on mine (best i could do without modifying steering)
and it was difficult to adjust my diff pinion to match while still maintaining enough clearence above
the tailshaft at a sensibly lowered ride height

but your right, they respond really well to induction and exhaust mods, they also rely on
really good ignition to perform

Donor car appears to have huge high flow aftermarket headers and exhaust. Getting excited now. Wife is taking the kids to a birthday party tomorrow so should have a good 4-5 hours of tinkering. Want to get it all running smoothly in the RX7 before I start pulling out what I need and mapping out the conversion.

Slant side to side should be all right. Slant front to back is bad for propshaft alignment unless you also slant the diff to match.
