That is a 63-series transmission (A14-powered B210).

Sedan or coupe it fits the same. All A14 B210s used an engine plate, and I think there was only one length bearing sleeve for the 63-series, so the solution is to the fit the engine plate and use the 63-series sleeve and throwout arm. Make sure the clutch is adjusted for some play. If not it will act burnt out.

Strange, there is definitely free play at the pedal.
The clutch engagement point on the pedal has always been about 3/4" from the top.
I was hoping pulling the plate would gain some tension and lower that point on the pedal?

There was no factory combination B210 5-speed that did not use the engine spacer plate. So I think pulling the plate is not the answer. Instead inspect the clutch disk thickness and ensure that the release bearing Sleeve they differ from 4-speed parts.

B210 63-series 30531-K0550 LEVER-WITHDRAWAL,CLUTCH
B210 60-series 30531-H1600 LEVER-WITHDRAWAL CLUTCH

Release Lever arm appears to be the same as 4-speed.
