96hp @7900rpm cost $8500.00US seem like alot of $$ for small amount of horses??

Yes the Atkins is quite heavy if correct while the small single TB is made for aircraft needs while it makes 96hp at 7000rpm it makes almost 130hp at 9000rpm and thats from the small stock 4 port auto version while the 6 port manual version makes about 20% more like on the cars.
The bare block itself is 47-48kg while add-ons can add as much as 20-25kg depending on needs. Still the block is lighter than an A10 and 180hp is possible with good porting induction ignition exxy etc.

pics of my kit single for sale are now available it made serious HP comparable to a good sr20det or 280hp ate torque was around 160 ft. lbs @ 8000rpm :) it had staged boost for different gears but ran 30psi psi with rice racing seals.

That's pretty neat to look at a stripped down rotary motor. I honestly had never seen one. 280hp will make any datto go.

The issue is the PP needs big rpm while most rotary freaks now mostly use EP with better turbos but the PP would be awesome for supercharging and turbo :)
Here in Oz engineers will see the 650B single as 1300cc so well within engineering compared to a ca18det or sr20det yet will be lighter, smaller, simpler and match them @ their factory 175-280hp using a disco potato or similar turbo. They will easily go beyond 11,000rpm with ease unlike on twin rotor 13b which puts way more stress on stat gears and e-shaft. Its just a unique solution for a light car or ultralight that needs no more than a crispy fast and high revving 120-300hp ate beyond that the 13b is almost on its own for power to weight at around 70kg bare block. All alloy endplates bring the single down to a ridiculous 30kg.

Ernie, not much to them especially as a single yet heres a rotary datsun that looks like your Bumble Bee supercharged b110 but using a holley with turbo. Im sure most peeps know this legendary beast with jag rear end.
