Hi all I know is that the SC came from a 1200 datsun, I am not sure what it was originally off. It does have SC12 stamped on it and some other writting.
I was wondering would I be limited to useing this SC on a A12 or would I be ok to use it on a A14 or A15? Here are some more pics of the SC originally I though that it was seized but I belive it to of been a gunked up bearing as some WD40 later its as free as a bird :) Its going to get a full strip and rebuild anyway though. ![]() ![]()

Loving the spokes, are they Blacks Racing? (BR)
Also agree with thee change from gold to black, definitely much better. You did a decent job on the paint too, you'll be able to fabricate your own Super Charger stuff if you're that handy.

In that case get bigger rubber later on when they are worn to fill in the guards and give you a cushier ride over those nasty roads

Hi I thought that I would post some pics of my 120Y.
I originally got the car from DatsAndy and it was in very good condition with only a few things needed to be fixed for registration, so I replaced a few rubbers & bushes, bootlock, and fixed up some electrics. After this work was done it went through the rego check. Performance wise I fitted a webber carby, extractors, and a exhaust. Just these three things made a huge different and really brought the engine to life, I have a cam on the way so I will fit that when it arrives. Heres a couple of pics of the car when I first got it. ![]() ![]() One of the front guards was a little worse for ware but luckly enough it came with a spare so I painted that one up. ![]() ![]() ![]() The funny part about the front guard was that when I was fixing up some of the dents I purposly left some imperfections because I did not want it to stand out from the rest of the car, as the car has its fair share of dents ect. Next was the wheels I brought a set that had a brand new set of federal tyres on them, wasant really feeling the gold paint so I throught I would change the colour to good old black. ![]() ![]() When I fitted the wheels the front had about 6inch clearence between the tyre and arch that looked terrible, I put this down to the profile of the original tyres, we had a set of springs laying around off a old corolla which was 3 inch shorter and fitted perfectly, so I gave the shocks some fresh paing and I am really happy with the ride height now. ![]() Heres how its sitting now ![]() ![]() Heres a couple of pics of the interior just fitted a sporty steering wheel. ![]() ![]() Now im happy with the way the car is now the fun stuff begins, looking for a bigger engine to rebuild and I have a SC that I am going to rebuild and run with the new motor.
