That part number is for the square adjuster

Star adjuster for newer ute is the same as B310 Sunny.

yea ive tried that but it looks like theyve grabbed the thread with vice grips or something its a mess but thanks... and r grinder i didnt know u could get new ones..wow where do i look for those? or do i contact nissan thanks heaps

Why not just buy new ones from Nissan? Part number should be 44200-18000

With mine I pulled it out welded the stripped end then made it square again on a bench grinder.
Pull it apart whilst you are at it and apply grease to the moving parts.
Worked for me :)

hey ive just changed my rear shoes and drums on my 1200 ute, i dont think theyve ever been done becuase the star adjuster is rounded off (as in where you adjust it) and it looks like theyve given up. i was wondering if any one could help me with sourcing either new/used rear shoe adjusters or let me know where to look or what would work, any help would be appreciated its my first car and im trying to learn everything i can, thanks!
