With a stuck piston, it is the rings stuck to the cylinder walls. Soak the rings with penetrating oil and let soak. Turn the block upside down and do the same thing from the bottom. Undo the rod cap and drive the piston out using a stick of hardwood.

Often the block can be re-honed and re-used without re-boring needed. You can only tell once it is apart.

The only perf differences in the block are:
* Flat-top pistons
* High-rpm Cam

The cylinder head, intake and exhaust are where the rest of the magic is. To use them on an old block you may grind an new oil passage in the head.

#4 is all rusted not sure what to do,parts hard to find in San Diego!
and the dizy is more to the rear than directly in the middle

Could I put or use the parts on another A12 block?
And get the same result?

That is the A12T engine, every bit as powerful as the GX engine, just the new style block. Has the hottest factory cam. I would definitely use that engine.

It does have the dizy in the middle...oh well for a $150 bucks I got some extra parts!
Some carbs and a sweet Head.
The block #4 was tragically lost to RUST!

They all have a cast iron exhaust manifold. But is it a cast iron header-style manifold with a twin-outlet?

It's not a GX motor. It might be an A12T engine, which is similar but with flat-top carbs and no oiling boss. If it has mid-mount distributor it is not a GX.

Dont get "030 over" pistons -- get 2 mm overbore pistons, which are very common having been in all 1979-1982 Datsun 210 with A12A. Get the pistons and the rods since they are different. Only a few dollars at Pick-n-Pull.

It say's Japan Nissan and it has big oval ports, dual valve springs, cast iron exhaust manifold,but flat top SU's.# 4 was seized and looks like if I want to run this motor I'm going to need 30 over pistons...witch I can't find!
All for $150
