If the shocks weren't in the way (ie coupe, wagon, or sedan) then the caliper could be rotated so that it cleared the inner wall of the wheel tub.

going skyline brakes, this was the mock up, forward and down looks best to me

you can see where the bluey setup was hitting - multiple places, i think coupes have the least clearance to chassis and such

i have since drilled the plates accurately and organised to have some bearing retainers welded in

we made a jig for drilling the backing plates if anyone else wants theirs drilled super accurate
