I am be extremely interested in any feedback on ebay aluminium rads. I am looking for a new radiator to go onto a datsun sunny rally car. I am currently looking at this on ebay.

is that the same dimensions as a stock 1200 radiator?

I looked at this one because is was manufactured in an ISO certified facility and is fully tig welded (no epoxy). Claim to use aircraft grade aluminium etc etc They also have a phone number so you can talk to a real person. Still made in China.

The radiator is considerably bigger than the 1200. External dimension - 460 wide, 505 tall and 70 thick.
Has correct 35mm inlet and outlet pipes ready for an A series.

I would like to hear from anyone how has used this particular radiator.

1200 Radiator
Core dimension: 330 x 344 x 32 mm
Overall 465mm tall (to top of rad. cap) & 381mm wide
Bolt spacing: 368 mm wide x 251 mm high
Fin spacing: 2.5 mm
Inlet and outlet diameter: 1" (25.4 mm)

Aluminum radiator usually have larger (not as good) fin spacing. The Champion radiator has copper fins (it appears) using high-tech louvered fins just like the Datsun 1200 radiator.

Champion: Core is 14-1/8" high x 15-1/2" wide (359mm x 394mm). Much larger inlet & outlet.

I comes with a 16-lb cap but you can use the stock 13-lb cap so the pressure won't stress the heater core.

The Roadster radiator (champion off ebay) looks to be about 2" taller than the 1200 radiator.

im getting sentra b13 (ga16de) radiator. is that easily mod to datsun B310?

That radiator needs zero mods

Mods to the B310
* drill small holes in radiator panel to screw on the upper pin mount brackets
* drill two holes in bottom radiator panel for lower pin mount rubbers
* move the horn

I was led to believe that the general consensus on here was that these radiators we're the go for ebay radiators...

When the time comes, I was going to get one of these coupled with a SPAL fan.

What does "were the go" mean? Those radiator work OK as an A-series replacement radiator, but
* are not suitable for high HP engines like SR20
* cost more than N14/N15 radiators
