I believe lots of people have had success with using the DET gear on a DE. The SR guys do this quite frequently, basically you just need to make sure you swap coil packs, wiring, ecu, injectors, CAS, boost control along with all the other turbo gear.

Then just make sure you always run on 98 RON fuel, don't let it get too hot and don't try to up the boost and you should be fine. This is the plan for the SR20DE+T i'm building for my 1600 and I imagine the CA would be the same.

I also raised the same questions about higher comp and the general consensus seems to be that the fuel and air mix will be the same no matter what the compression and so long as you avoid detonation there is no reason you cant run this setup all day every day.

G'day, i'm thinking of putting my CA18DE in my car with the turbo bits bolted on

With the higher comp on the DE i'm wondering what tuning i would need to do

can i use the stock DE or DET ECU or with some tweaks or how should i get it to run right
