Great progress. On the matter of clearance I'd be really interested to know the distance from the back of the Cam/rocker covers to the firewall using the Kev Rowley crossmember.

Are you going to run a heater...or don't you need one up there ?

cadet I'll measure it when I get it bolted down. it seems to sit a bit further forward than
others I have seen.

No heater..12v hair dryers for mod plate:) ...and no cold idle either.

Motor and gearbox in. Gearbox mount is 1inch out from where the l20 was. Still fits the original hole though. pics to come

So it cleared your existing clutch master cylinder OK?

Keen to see pics and also keen to get some measurements off you from engine to firewall using the K.Rowley X-Member.

had to remove clutch master to install. We installed the gbox attached to motor otherwise it would have stayed in.
Plenty of room. I'll measure up for u tonight..

just measured. engine is 4.5cm or 1.7inches from firewall
