It was a sabre sr20 alloy radiator. It ended up with a hole in it.

Update:

Just waiting on my struts to return from being shortened with new shocks. I did get it together with the coilovers on standard height 1200 struts. With the rca's in though it was still way to high even wound down on their lowest setting. With the rca's out it was almost non driveable.
I discovered during the conversion of the s13 brakes that i actually had sunny struts in the ute. Just fyi they dont work with s13 brakes and the standard adapter plates.

Big shout out to supafatto for helping me sort this problem with the brakes/hubs/struts. That guy is a legend.

Just purchased an lsd from sonitra works.

Gearbox leak is worse than first expected so im going to pull it out and have it overhauled while its waiting for engineer.

Interior is finished bar the seats...thinking sparco sprint v's.
More pics coming soon

Hey mrbarista,

What headlights are you running in the 1200 and where did you get them from?

Cheers

Sherodat

They where on the beast when i got the car a couple of years ago. Look suspiciously like those crystal ebay items. They do make a perfect grill fitment an annoying issue if you like things to line up like i do. No one else notices but it erks me everytime i look at it

A little bit of an update:

So I got my hands on a built/forged ca18det. A vipec ecu and my 1200 coilovers are in.
I have had to drop the car at workshop in cairns as work has just increased tenfold. They will do a couple of rust repairs and finish off a few little things for engineering.
pics to come

Hey,

Been a hell of ride but the ute is due for pickup end of this week.....waaaay over budget.
New motor freshened up with cosmetic head gasket and vipec in. Fuel pressure reg, brake proportioning valve and heater unit installed. Lsd in and a good tidy up.
Can't wait to drive her!
