Both of the rubber companies you mention just sell the weatherstrip as a generic part and is not datsun model specific. It usually comes in 1 meter lenghts.

Are you after the weather strip that is located along the top edge of the main door panel and at the base of the window? The rubber part is attached to the chrome strip?

I tried Spectrum rubber for some bits and scotts auto rubber, neither of them were very helpfull in my experiance.
Spectrum, after calling, never got back to me with the details on manufacturing lead time.
Scotts auto was really rude on the phone (might have caught him on a bad day.
I ended up using 'mazda phils rotary products rubber', I went to his warehouse north of Brisbane, chatted to him, he imports the rubber products direct and I had a good experiance. He gave me a good price/discount to boot.
He sells stuff on e-bay as well, which might help with purchase protection?
