Coupe/Sedan leaf spring has three leafs.

Suitable for a ute which is lighter than a coupe or sedan. But not suitable for carrying heavy loads. It will lower and soften the ute. By the way, B110 wagon has a four-leaf pack like the ute but not as heavy-duty.

King springs make 4 leaf version for the B110 wagon? Can someone please explain to me what reverse eye means?

What about the composite ones from flex-form? Any good?

A large order for composite leaf springs would be the way to go.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm not keen on King springs as they have been described as too hard by many club members, and I'm after a more comfortable ride with some off road ability.

I contacted flex form and this was their response:

Hello Justin,

We can make our composite monoleafs for your Datsun.
Shipping to Australia is not cheap. We have recently been using Federal Express and it has been running in the range of $160 to $185. Base price for the springs is $425 for a pair.
Contact us again if you have other questions.
Thanks for the inquiry.

Mark

If anyone knows of a composite leaf spring maker in Aus, maybe that's the way to go?

Justin,

Was that a recent response you got from them?

Is that the shipping price for one set? Surely it could be cheaper than that. What do they weigh? If used a forwarding company based out of California before with pretty good rates. Maybe ask how much they weigh and package dimensions for say 10 sets and then I can get a quote from them.

What is his best price if we buy in bulk?

We've been over this before. We couldn't get four people to buy a set let alone 10.

The shipping is based on length, not weight, which is why it is so expensive.

Yes, that was a recent response. I just asked him if there are cheaper options for shipping.

I'll ask about a bulk buy, but it sounds like it won't be feasible if the group won't commit.

I don't understand why it would be so difficult since apparently they are all that and a bag of chips but nobody is willing to pay up? I'd be willing to pay the extra since maddat are asking $500 for theirs.
