This is a reluctant sale - i love my ute - but the wife wants me to take her and the kids on cruises etc. so i'm on the look out for a sedan/wagon and i can't afford both.

Purchased in Oct 08 from Penrith NSW. Got mutual recognition through QLD transport for all mods(so will probably go straight back to NSW no problems).

EMS stinger 4 ECU installed early 09. Supercharger on 10PSI at full tilt running oversize crank pulley. SC rebuilt May 11, new seals & bearing. ABV modification done at the same time.

Radiator reconditioned July 2010 and new stepdown connector/hoses to heater at rear of block.

New theromofan Oct 2010. New topgun ignition leads custom made Dec 2010.

New clutch master cylinder Feb 2012.

New front end bushes (sway bar, LCA, Caster) Oct 2012. Left front ball joint new at same time.

new 620cca battery jan2013

Engine is a '89 (was AFM now map sensored through ECU). custom made air intake as a result with k&n filter.gear box is toyota 5sp

Had 58000 on clock when bought, now reading 105000, that's pretty much 10000 per year. It is my daily driver, 50 km round trip per week day. Always warmed up well.

Other bits and pieces: shorter steering wheel boss fitted late last year.

front tyres (175/55r15) new dec. 2012
back tyres (195/50r15) nearly done (still legal).

tyres are different due to the offset on the rims which were changed to make them legal and get them off spacers whilst still clearing the front struts.

front struts and LCAs are stanza i believe and front discs are sunny. rears are
standard drum. brake pads are due as well.

body is very straight, paint (white with a bit of pearl) is also very good. the only spot of rust i've found is on the lower/inside passenger door sil (see pic).

the car has been put together with stainless nuts/bolts/screws and has had some sort of rust inhibitor (fisholene i think) applied. there is a little browness (maybe surface rust) around the top rear corners of the engine bay but this is exactly as it was when i got the car.(see pic)

has 11/2" lowering blocks. tinted windows and mongoose m80 alarm. front guards are rolled.

interior is old school. original seats and door cards are matching blue and brown velour (i have had the seats covered all the time) carpet is a thick pile brown and appears to have been custom fitted. it has a taco dash which is cracked on top but is wearing a carpet mat. s/c clutch switch is in choke position on dash. has 6 speaker stereo - jvc, bluetooth, nothing special but it all works. tray is covered in marine carpet. has torneau cover.

issues: i've mentioned the spot of rust, taco works but not properly (it doesnt want to read correct revs past about 2000rpm and light doesn't work). trip meter wont reset any more, interior light button on drivers door opening has disappeared inside panel (the light still works fine you just have to use the switch on the light). torneau cover needs restitching. rear bushes are due. paint on lower front guard under bumper is cracked (see pic).

basically with the money i had when buying the car, you could get a decent ca18 drive train but body and interior were crap. then this popped up it looked to be in such good condition. i ummed and ahhed did some research on the 4a and decided to go for it. as a result i got a drive away car that needed minimal work. i'm glad i did. i haven't seen another 4a conversion in the flesh. it always draws comments for it's looks, then you pop the bonnet...

the car is well looked after and serviced everey 5000km with quality fluids. i have receipts for everything.

asking $9500 neg. any questions welcome. pm me if interested and i'll pass on my mob. no.

the number plates will stay with me as will the "s" grille badge (i have the "d" to go back on)

if any of the guys fron QPDC are reading this i'd welcome any testimonials.

I've seen this ute in person many times and can vouch for the cleanliness and overall excellent condition of the ute. Had a 1v1 on Lakeside at one point with this ute and Randoli knocked the socks off my A15!
