I was under the impression the strombergs had issues with E85 on some seals compared to SUs but maybe thinking of late bike carbs with the plastic floats. Whats the powerband like?

I`ve never really had any issues with it on hot days (we don`t get that many in Tas.)

I have lifted the bonnet about an inch at the rear (drift style)and this lets a shed load of heat out.

It is also fitted with a three row radiator core.

Nothing will happen. Most fuel hose is compatible with E85. Some older fuel hose will degrade but only over the long run.

I`ll fill a jar with E85 and put a section of fuel hose in for a couple of weeks and see what happens.
I`ve been running this brew for about twelve months with no problems yet.

Not here it doesn't. But E10 is only 10% ethanol and so doesn't cause much problem.

E85 is not good on the old rubber hoses. Metal lines have no problem with E85.

Cheers,
The fuel lines are stock and I believe united E85 and E10 have an additive to help with the corrosion issues of past. I does however eat your paint though.

Say you had a GX exhaust manifold and you didn't like the j pipe extra bit that came with it, how would one design a nicer adaptor for it to fit a strut towered B chassis?

I'd like to play with boost at some point, and round port\ or just an A12 would be the go to piss off everyone.
