I haven't been able to do any work on the car for the past couple of months with a thumb injury I got wicket-keeping, but that's finally starting to come good now and I've been able to start doing stuff again in the last week. The front hubs are off being machined for the S13 discs, and I'll will do the wiring and stuff this weekend if I get a chance.

And I finally found a cheap L16 engine (and a spare 63A box), so the original plan for an under 1600cc class car is back on. Good thing no-one bought my 40mm Dellortos. This is probably for the best because the engineer I've been talking to wasn't terribly enthusiastic about approving the engine swap with the carby turbo setup on it... no sense of adventure those engineers!

R-Fast, you have PM mate.

Whats the first date for Mt Cotton next year? Should be a bit of fun. Just wondering how easy it is to get Z20E rods in Brisbane, Harry. Can't find any here in Sydney, only alternative is to import from America or China.

hubs machined - SFA needs to be removed for the S13 discs.

And I did another track day at Lakeside yesterday in the big automatic Soarer barge and ran 63.0, so that will be the goal for the 120Y! I'll probably need about 120rwbhp to match the Soarer's power:weight.

Nice head. You putting l18 crank rods and 240k pistons in that l16 too to get it going with that head?

I liked your turbo setup as well. Easy 100hp or more atw too.
The landbarge looks like it sorted handling wise too.

Ive got an older barge xd wagon lol. Add another 10mins to your lap time and it might be half way round track

I recall you achieved 118rwhp from one of your other L18 cars so 120rwhp for this setup is going to be great to see with lower capacity. The 120y and soarer look very impressive, full marks with your builds as always. Im not up to the S12 upgrade these are 120y hubs with custom calipers brackets?
regards, Dave
