Yes the turbo has not yet been adjusted! Haha, it was fresh out of the box.

I am going with the fish bone style inlet manifold and draw through carb me thinks.

Bump

Not if you run injectors as in the 3d images illustrated using fish-bone manifold.

If you rotate the turbo inlet down & build a log style inlet manifold could also be a very neat conversion for draw-through shorty Ultima retro Super G replacement 48mm carb would look crazy as would clear bonnet with no issues.

Log manifolds are the best bang for buck in my opinion. I think we can all admit that our budgets are pretty restrained.

Attached is the high mount datsun 1000 manifold, needs some review to fit the old 1200 but that'll be happening next!

For some interesting application of log style manifolds they are quite a force.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNuiDE ... re=player_embedded#at=443

Just on 6.35 seconds stop the vid for a glimpse of the turbo manifold Pagani Zonda use for max throttle response. Honda peeps turboing for some years now have been choosing smaller compact log style manifolds. Saab Turbo 4s in the 90s had 85-90 per cent of torque available from 1750rpm. Logs with the right snail and inlet make as little lag as possible now to get the rest of the ti exhaust from the pagani zonda factory :) not to mention the leather!.

Not off topic at all Dean, good to see some sexy fab work

Shane, that manifold is very similar to the mid range one that I have designed. Great work. Equal length would me much easier if we were cross flow!

Are you a fabricator by trade Shane? You look like you've got some solid TIG skills.

OT but what gearbox are you running ShaneP? Looks like an adaptor plate sandwiched in there?
