I'm gonna make the bracket.with the EI now what's the best spark plug to use?I use BP5ES.

BP5ES is perfect. Or you could go with BP5ES-11 which has a larger gap.

Ok so now i have the gear on and dizzy sitting in the block.What postion should the dizzy be spot on to be timed properly?

I also have 8mm plug wires to go with that.

Why not use 9mm plug wires?

See Ignition Timing, section "Initial Timing"

1. Turn engine until old distributor points to #1 plug wire

2. Remove old distributor

3. line up teeth on new distributor while installing

Its a new distributor am gonna use i didnt get any with the engine is it ok to line up as normal then continue

Yes, time it like the stock distributor.

This is 5 degrees BTDC. But it could be for #1 cylinder or #4 cylinder.

If it backfires when attempting to start, rotate the plug wires two spots over and try it again.
